9. Remove mounting bolts of steering gear assembly with power tool, and then remove rack mounting bracket, rack mounting insulator and steering

gear assembly from vehicle.

INSTALLATION

Refer to Removal and Installation for tightening torque. Install in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE:  Refer to component parts location and do not reuse non-reusable parts.

Install the steering gear to the vehicle, refer to the tightening order shown in the figure.

Confirm if rear cover cap on steering gear consists with steering gear when front wheels are set in the straight ahead direction as shown in the
figure.
