1.

Write down all radio station presets.

2.

Remove any accessory (phone charger etc.) from the 12V power outlets.

WARNING

Do NOT use a Computer Memory Saver (9-volt power source) that plugs into the 12V Power Outlet(s) to retain memory settings on the computer
and radio.

NOTE:

Use suitable covers to protect upholstery carpet etc. when performing this procedure.

3.

Remove the headrests from both driver and passenger seats and place them on a clean dry surface.

4.

Remove front and rear slide covers and seat anchor bolts. (Driver and passenger sides).

a.

Move the seat bottom rearward to remove the front slide covers and seat anchor bolts. See Figure 1.

b.

Move the seat bottom forward to remove the rear slide covers and seat anchor bolts. See Figure 2.

5.

Disconnect both battery cables (negative cable first) and wait at least 3 minutes after the battery cables are disconnected.
