EXHAUST MANIFOLD  

Exploded View EM-32

Removal and Installation  

REMOVAL 

WARNING: Perform the work when the exhaust and cooling system have completely cooled down.  

NOTE: When removing right bank side parts only, step 1, 4 and 7 are unnecessary.

1. Drain engine coolant. 
2. Remove engine cover with power tool.
3. Remove air cleaner case and air duct (RH and LH). 
4. Remove water pipe and water hose. 
5. Remove engine undercover with power tool.
6. Remove exhaust front tube and three way catalysts (right and left bank). 
7. Disconnect steering lower joint at power steering gear assembly side, and release steering lower shaft.
8. Disconnect air fuel ratio sensor (bank 1 and bank 2) harness connectors and remove harness clip.
