IF YOU CONFIRM:
A customer reports experiencing the sensation of very small "surges" in the vehicle when in cruise control and traveling downhill (but no noticeable
actual vehicle speed fluctuations).
ACTIONS:
1. Refer to Step 2 in the Service Procedure to confirm this bulletin applies to the vehicle you are working on.
2. If this bulletin applies, reprogram the ECM.
3. If the ECM is reprogrammed and the vehicle is equipped with Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC), replace the ICC Sensor Integrated Unit / Distance
Sensor.
^ Use the new ICC Distance Sensor listed in the Parts Information.
^ Refer to section CCS in the Service Manual for ICC Sensor Integrated Unit (ICC Distance Sensor) replacement information.
