Is the inspection result normal?
YES  -  Replace driver seat control unit. Refer to See: Relays and Modules - Body and Frame/Power Seat Control Module/Service and Repair/Driver
Seat Control Unit/Removal And Installation
NO  -  Repair or replace harness.
3.CHECK FORWARD SWITCH GROUND CIRCUIT
Check continuity between forward switch harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES  -  GO TO 4.
NO  -  Repair or replace harness.
4.CHECK FORWARD SWITCH
Check forward switch. Refer to See: Driver Side/Component Inspection.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES  -  GO TO 5.
NO  -  Replace forward switch. Refer to See: Seats/Service and Repair/Front Seat/Exploded View.
5.CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Check intermittent incident. Refer to See: Testing and Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview/Intermittent Incident.
 -  INSPECTION END

Component Inspection

FORWARD SWITCH

DRIVER SIDE : Component Inspection

1.CHECK FORWARD SWITCH
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect forward switch connector.
3. Check continuity between forward switch terminals.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES  -  INSPECTION END
NO  -  Replace forward switch. Refer to See: Seats/Service and Repair/Front Seat/Exploded View.

Component Function Check

FORWARD SWITCH

PASSENGER SIDE : Component Function Check

1.CHECK FUNCTION
Check that power walk-in function does not activate when seatback is folded up.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES  -  Forward switch function is OK.
NO  -  Refer to See: Passenger Side/Diagnosis Procedure.
