Neutral Safety Switch: Testing and Inspection

PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH

Component Inspection

1.CHECK PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION (PNP) SWITCH
Check continuity between park/neutral position (PNP) switch terminals with control lever turned to 1st to 6th and reverse position.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES  -  INSPECTION END
NO  -  Replace park/neutral position (PNP) switch. Refer to See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Manual Transmission/Transaxle/Service and
Repair/Overhaul/Transmission Assembly/Exploded View.
