9. Remove O-rings from servo piston retainer.

10. Remove O-rings from band servo piston.

INSPECTION 

Pistons, Retainers And Piston Stem

Check frictional surfaces for abnormal wear or damage.

Return Springs
-

Check for deformation or damage.

-

Measure free length and outer diameter. 
Band Servo:

2nd Servo Return Spring:

Free Length: 32.5 mm (1.280 inch)
Outer Diameter: 25.9 mm (1.020 inch)

O/D Servo Return Spring:

Free Length: 31.0 mm (1.220 inch)
Outer Diameter: 21.7 mm (0.854 inch) 

ASSEMBLY

1. Install O-rings to servo piston retainer. Apply ATF to O-rings. Pay attention to position of each O-ring.
