Camshaft Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection
Component Inspection

1. Remove camshaft position sensor from engine. (Camshaft position sensor harness connector should remain connected.)
2. Turn ignition switch "ON".

3. Rotate camshaft position sensor shaft slowly by hand and check voltage between terminals "1", "2" and ground. 

4. If NG, replace camshaft position sensor.

NOTE:After this inspection, diagnostic trouble code No. 11 might be displayed though the camshaft position sensor is functioning properly. In
this case erase the stored memory.
