1.

Remove engine lower cover, then drain engine oil.

2.

Remove engine oil level gauge and air duct.

3.

Remove A/C hose attaching bolt and brake booster vacuum hose bolt.

4.

Remove radiator fitting bolts.

5.

Disconnect automatic transmission oil cooler tube fitting bolts.

6.

Remove oil pan attaching bolts. Loosen bolts in sequence, Fig. 2.

7.

Insert seal cutter KV10111100 or equivalent between cylinder block and oil pan. Do not use a screwdriver.

8.

Slide seal cutter by tapping with hammer.

9.

Loosen exhaust front tube attaching bolts.

10.

Remove front stabilizer brackets, then right front stabilizer attaching bolt.

11.

Loosen left front stabilizer attaching bolt.

12.

Set a suitable jack under transmission case, then place a piece of wood between transmission jack and case.

13.

Remove engine mounting bolts, then slowly raise jack until oil pan can be removed.

14.

Remove oil pan from vehicle.

15.

Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Apply a continuous bead of suitable sealant .138-.177 inch wide to oil pan mating surface.
b. Tighten bolts in reverse order of removal, Fig. 2.
c. Wait at least 30 minutes before refilling engine oil.
