B. Compare the Part Number you wrote down to the numbers in the Current ECM P/N columns in Table A, B and C above.

If there is a match in Table A, continue with the ECM reprogramming procedure only.

If there is a match in Table B, continue with the ECM reprogramming procedure, and then perform TCM reprogramming.

If there is a match in Table C, ECM reprogramming is needed (see NOTE below), and then perform TCM reprogramming.

NOTE:

Before performing ECM reprogramming, refer to ITB10-040 (2011 M56 Air Fuel Ratio Sensor-Voluntary Service Campaign).

ITB10-040 will instruct you to check Service Comm for campaign eligibility.

If this campaign applies to your vehicle, perform the campaign first.

The reprogramming contained in ITB10-040 (if applicable to your vehicle) will satisfy the ECM reprogramming need for this bulletin.
