Use the tip of a screw to gently push through the tape to locate the mounting hole.

9.

Reinstall the latch assembly.

10.

Reinstall the glove box lid lock cylinder and connect the linkage rod to the latch.

11.

Make sure the glove box lock operates correctly by manually flipping the latch closed and then opening it by pushing the key cylinder.

12.

Reinstall the glove box assembly.

13.

Confirm the rattle noise is no longer present.
