If the I-Key has a dead battery the engine can still be started by inserting the I-Key into the In-Dash Key Port located to the left of the steering
column (see Figure 1).

The mechanical emergency key can be used to open the doors and trunk.

Window Operation and Initialization

If the windows will not operate in the Auto-Mode and any of the following conditions have occurred the windows should be initialized.

Battery cable is disconnected

^

Power window switch connector is disconnected

^

Power window regulator is replaced

^

Power window motor is replaced

^

Window glass is removed

^

Window glass run rubber is replaced

^

Power window fuse is blown

Window Initialization Procedure

1.

Turn the Ignition switch "ON".

2.

Open the window more than halfway using manual-switch (NOT Auto-Mode) operation.

NOTE:

If the window is already open more than halfway go to step 3.

3.

Close the window using the manual-switch operation and hold the switch UP for 3 to 4 seconds after the glass reaches the fully closed position.

4.

Confirm the window you are working on is operating properly.

5.

Then confirm all other windows are operating properly.
