If the update is not successfully completed the power LED on the CONSULT-II Converter will be OFF.

In this case the update needs to be performed again.

CAUTION:

When update errors are displayed on the screen the power LED may be ON even though the update did not complete. In this case the update
needs to be performed again.

Section 5: Perform ICC Control Unit Reprogramming

IMPORTANT:

Make sure all electrical loads* are OFF (except for the ignition).

^

Make sure all cellular phones are OFF.

^

* Headlights defroster A/C Audio Video cellular telephone etc.

1.

Connect the AC/DC power supply to CONSULT-II.

2.

Press [BACK] to display the screen shown in Figure 31.

3.

Press [INITIATE ECU REPROGRAM]

Review all precautions that are displayed on the screen.

4.

Press [NEXT]
