Reprogramming 5 needed; continue with Part 2.

If your vehicle's ICC P/N does not match one of the P/N's listed above:

Reprogramming is NOT needed this procedure is complete. No Further Action is Necessary.

NOTE:

If your vehicle has had the ICC control unit replaced recently or this campaign has already been performed your part number will be one of
these. If your part number matches one of these reprogramming is NOT needed this procedure is complete. No Further Action is Necessary.

*Part 2: Erase / repair any DTCS that are stored in any control units.

1.

With the Red/White diagnostic card in CONSULT-II check the "SELF-DIAG RESULTS" for all CONSULT compatible control units:

NOTE:

Some of the systems listed below may not apply to your vehicle.

If any DTCs are stored additional repairs may be necessary.

Repairs for stored DTCs are not covered in this bulletin.

All DTC related repairs must be performed and DTCs erased before continuing with this procedure.

If no DTCs are stored continue with this procedure.*

2.

Turn the ignition OFF turn CONSULT-II OFF.

3.

Disconnect CONSULT-II from the vehicle.

4.

Continue with Part 3.

Part 3: Download special Y50 ICC Reprogramming Data from ASIST onto your standard 8 MB (orange) Reprogramming Card.

This part of the procedure involves two general steps:
