INTRODUCTION

On some 2006 M35/45 vehicles, the radiator fan motor may begin to operate incorrectly or not operate at all. If this occurs, in certain limited
circumstances, the engine control logic may temporarily reduce engine output in order to protect against overheating damage. To prevent this potential
condition, Infiniti is conducting this Voluntary Service Campaign to replace the radiator fan control module free of charge for parts and labor.

IDENTIFICATION NUMBER

Infiniti has assigned identification number P8227 to this campaign. This number must appear on all communications and documentation of any nature
dealing with this campaign.

DEALER RESPONSIBILITY

Dealers are to correct each vehicle falling within the range of this campaign that enters the service department. This includes vehicles purchased from
private parties or presented by transient (tourist) owners and vehicles in a dealer's inventory.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1.

Turn the Ignition OFF.

2.

Remove the LH and RH engine covers.

Pull UP on the covers near the clips to snap the clips loose (see Figure 1).
