Remove the 2 bolts shown in Figure 2 and then remove the air intake duct.

4.

Locate the radiator cooling fan control module (see Figure 3).

Look between the front of the engine and the radiator cooling fans.

5.

Disconnect the 3 harness connecters form the cooling fan control module (see Figure 3).

6.

Remove the 2 mounting bolts shown in Figure 3 and then remove the cooling fan control module.

7.

Install the new cooling fan control module:

Install the 2 bolts - torque to 4.4 N-m (0.45 kg-m, 39 in-lb).

Reconnect the harness connecters.
