NOTE:

CONSULT-II can communicate with the vehicle even when the ignition switch if OFF.

Wait for the CONSULT-II system software to load then select: [NATS BCM or S/ENT] > [PIN READ]. (CONSULT-II will display and print the
BCM-Specific 5-digit code. You'll use ASIST to decode).

Decode the BCM-Specific 5-digit code using ASIST.

a.

From the ASIST main menu screen, click on "Information Tool Box."

From the Information Tool Box screen click on the NATS Decoder button (see Figure 3).

Select [BACK] on CONSULT-II to return to the SELECT SYSTEM screen.

Select [STEERING LOCK RELEASE].

Enter the 4-digit PIN Code Number obtained from ASIST.
