IMPROPER GAP BETWEEN CASSETTE PLAYER FINISHER AND CENTER CONSOLE

SERVICE INFORMATION

If the gap between the cassette player finisher and center console is improper (i.e., too big) the cause may be an improperly adjusted cassette player. Use
the Service Procedure to adjust the cassette player to obtain the proper gap.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1.

Remove the cassette player finisher by carefully pulling out on the finisher until the clips are released (see Figure 1).

NOTE:

Use caution when pulling on the cassette finisher not to break the clips. However, if one of the clips on the finisher accidentally breaks, you will have
to order a new finisher. Refer to the Parts Information table for the replacement finisher part number.
