SERVICE INFORMATION

If an applied vehicle exhibits the following symptom:

Driver seat is loose; rocks excessively back and forth when vehicle accelerates from stop or making a turn, it may be repairable by replacing the front
Seat Lifter Link Bracket Assembly with a new Seat Lifter Link Bracket Assembly P/N 87458-AR000 (see Figure 1).

Use the Service Procedure in this bulletin to replace the front seat lifter link bracket with torsion bars assembly if the vehicle exhibits the described
symptom.

Service Procedure

IMPORTANT: 

Do not replace the entire front seat assembly unless this procedure is attempted first and does not correct this incident.

1.

Test drive vehicle to confirm the incident.

2.

Remove driver seat assembly from the vehicle. Refer to Service Manual page SE - 113 for seat removal procedure.
