Blower Unit

Removal and Installation

BLOWER UNIT
REMOVAL

1. Remove the glove box assembly.
2. Remove the glove box cover, the instrument lower assist panel and instrument reinforcement.
3. Remove the EC control unit and CD auto changer (If equipped).
4. Disconnect the blower motor connector, intake door motor connector and auto amp. connector.

5. Remove the screws from the blower unit, then remove it.

CAUTION:  Slide the blower unit toward the right, remove location pins (2 pieces), then move it downwards.

INSTALLATION

Installation is the reverse order of removal. Note the following.

CAUTION: Make sure the location pins (2 pieces) are securely installed.

NOTE:  When attaching the blower unit, the work will be easier if the blower motor is removed first.
