Once TCM Reprogramming is done, CONSULT II will print out a report (see Figure 13). Attach this to the repair order for future reference.

Press "END" to return to the main menu. Enter the vehicle and turn the ignition switch "OFF" and CONSULT-II off.

Step 4: TCM Initialization Procedure (red/white card)

CAUTION:

This procedure MUST be performed carefully and exactly as specified in the following steps. Failure to correctly complete TCM Initialization
can result in improper A/T shifting.

Remove the ORANGE reprogram card from CONSULT-II and insert the RED diagnostic card.

Confirm the shift lever is in the Park ("P") position, turn the ignition key to the ON position (do not start), and then wait for CONSULT-II to "boot
up".
