Perform ECM Reprogramming to install the latest available ECM data.

A)

Select model and model year for the applied vehicle (i.e. Q45 2003).

B)

Make a note of the "To" number listed in the ECM Reprogramming Data Summary screen.

NOTE:

The "To" number will read: 23710-XXXXX.

C)

Press "Continue" and follow directions to perform data download from ASIST to CONSULT-II.

D)

When reprogramming from CONSULT-II select the "To" number that you made note of in step B above.

E)

Re-program the vehicle's ECM.

This is a special ECM reprogram process and this procedure is only to be used for vehicles with the "Current ECM P/N" of 23710-AR203
ONLY!

An ECM ID CODE must be entered (see Figure 3) to get the Reprogramming data from ASIST. This is different from the typical ECM
Reprogramming procedures now in use, which requires the model and model year to be entered to look up ECM data in ASIST.

Attachment 1 - "Special ECM Reprogramming Procedure for ECM I.D. Entry" is only to be used for vehicles with the "Current ECM P/N" of
23710-AR203 and is different from Attachment A.

Do NOT use Attachment A for vehicles with the "Current ECM P/N" of 23710-AR203.

Perform ECM Reprogramming using ECM ID Entry to install the latest available ECM data.

If you are unfamiliar with ECM Reprogramming using ECM ID Entry refer to "Special ECM Reprogramming Procedure for ECM I.D. Entry"
