Attach the printout to the repair order.
See Figure 1 for an example of the CONSULT-II Self-Diagnosis printout.

Erase the Self-Diagnosis results.
ECM Part Number Check:
1.
Look at the Self-Diagnosis printout from step 1 above.

Note the vehicle's Current ECM Part Number.

Compare it to the P/N's listed in the chart under Current ECM P/N.
A.
If the ECM P/N in the vehicle matches one of those listed under "Current ECM P/N":

If the ASIST ECM Lookup Method is "Model/Model Year", Perform ECM Reprogramming "A" below.

If the ASIST ECM Lookup Method is "ECM ID code 020501", Perform ECM Reprogramming "1" below.
B.
If the ECM P/N in the vehicle does not match one of those listed under "Current ECM P/N":
