SERVICE INFORMATION

If an applied vehicle exhibits the following symptoms:

Air bag light is on,

^

CONSULT II shows one of the following satellite sensor DTC codes:

SATELLITE SENS LH [UNIT FAIL] 
SATELLITE SENS RH [UNIT FAIL]

A new center side air bag sensor kit (diagnosis sensor unit) is available to repair the incident. Replace the center side air bag sensor if the described
symptom should occur.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1.

Confirm the incident.

2.

Replace the center side air bag sensor (diagnosis sensor unit) with the part listed in Parts Information. Refer to Service Manual page SRS-45 for
removal and installation procedure of the center side air bag sensor (diagnosis sensor unit).

3.

Confirm the incident has been resolved.
