Throttle Position Sensor: Adjustments
Throttle Sensor and Throttle Valve Switch

1.

Connect throttle sensor and idle switch harness connectors.

2.

Start and run engine until normal operating temperature is reached.

3.

Disconnect idle switch harness connector, then loosen sensor mounting bolts.

4.

Check idle switch Off/On speed with circuit tester, closing throttle valve manually.

5.

Idle switch On speed should be 660-960 RPM.

6.

Tighten sensor mounting bolts.
