MODELS W/SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT

1.

Disable airbag system as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG ARMING AND DISARMING.

2.

Remove attaching screws from both sides of steering wheel, then pull horn pad.

3.

Remove lower lid from steering wheel, then disconnect airbag electrical connector, Fig. 1.

4.

Using Torx bit T50H, remove side lid and left and right special bolts.

5.

To remove airbag module, proceed as follows:
