SERVICE INFORMATION

If the chrome molding on the front and/or rear bumpers of a 1997 Q45 vehicle separates from the bumper fascia, use this bulletin to replace the chrome
molding.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1.

Use hot water (approximately 80 C, 176 F) and a plastic tool (e.g.: body filler spreading tool) to remove the molding from the bumper (see Figure
2).
