Front Crankshaft Seal: Service and Repair

1. Remove the following parts.

-

Engine under cover

-

Cooling fan

-

Drive belts

-

Crankshaft pulley

2. Remove front oil seal.

NOTE:  Be careful not to scratch front cover.

3. Apply engine oil to new oil seal and install it using suitable tool.

NOTE:  Install new oil seal in the direction shown in the figure.

4. Reverse procedure to install.
