Refer to the figure and align the mating marks on each sprocket and timing chain.

1. Check that crankshaft key faces upward at a 45° angle in direction of left bank axis when viewed from the front.

2. Install lower timing chain on right bank. Alien the mating marks on timing chain and crankshaft sprocket and install on crankshaft.
