System operation
The auto amplifier computes the air outlet conditions according to the ambient temperature and the in-vehicle temperature. The computed outlet
conditions are then corrected for sunload to determine air outlet through which air is discharged into the passenger compartment.
The actual air outlet is either VENT, B/L, B/L2, F/D or FOOT.
FOOT/DEF mode specification

When the ambient temperature decreases to -13°C (9°F), air outlet is changed from FOOT to F/D.

When the ambient temperature increases to -8°C (18°F), air outlet is changed from F/D to FOOT.
