SERVICE INFORMATION
If a 1997 Q45 has a MIL 'on' with DTC P0136 or P0156, the cause may be water intrusion into the engine harness.
Use the procedure in this bulletin to diagnose and repair the incident.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
MIL 'on' with DTC P0136 (rear O2 sensor - left bank)

Disconnect the rear O2 sensor from the harness connector E119 (see Figure 1).
2.
Inspect both connectors (male and female) for water or corrosion on the surface of the pins or inside the plastic housing of the connectors. The
corrosion will appear as discoloration typically with a white to light green powder appearance. The corrosion may be found on only one pin.
3.
To further verify the water intrusion, you can check the following connectors for corrosion:

E102 to E19 (first connection toward the ignition switch)

E12 to F3 (first connection from the ECM).

If water or corrosion is confirmed in the 02 sensor, connector E119 and/or connections from step 3, you must replace all of the following items to
