Valve Body: Service and Repair
On Vehicle Service

REPLACEMENT

1. Drain fluid from drain plug.
2. Remove oil pan and gasket.
3. Remove oil strainer.

4. Remove control valve assembly by removing fixing bolts and disconnecting harness connector. Refer to the illustration for the locations of Bolts A

and B.
Bolt A is 33 mm (1.30 inch).
Bolt B is 45 mm (1.77 inch).

5. Remove solenoid valves and valves from valve body if necessary.
6. Remove terminal cord assembly if necessary.

7. Remove accumulator A, B, C and D by applying compressed air if necessary.

NOTE:  Hold each piston with rag.

(A):N-D Accumulator
(B):2-3 Accumulator
(C):1-2 Accumulator
(D):3-4 (N-R) Accumulator
