TICKING / CREAKING NOISE FROM FRONT DOOR (LH OR RH)

APPLIED VEHICLES:
2004 - 2005 QX56 (JA60)

IF YOU CONFIRM:

A ticking or creaking type noise coming from a left or right front door

DETERMINE IF:

This bulletin applies (see steps 1 and 2 of the Service Procedure).

ACTIONS:

1.

Clean the upper body side seal.

2.

Apply DuPont Krytox(R) Lubricant-GPL-105 to the upper body side seal.

3.

Test drive the vehicle; if the noise is still there remove the door finisher separate door sheet metal and install felt cloth tape as shown in step 11 of
the Service Procedure.
