First carefully lift UP / BACK on the front edge of the Rear Spoiler to release the adhesive tape (see Figure 3a).

NOTE:

To help release the adhesive tape you can use the rounded end of the Chisel Tip Tool between the Rear Spoiler and Rear Hatch being very
careful not to damage the paint.

Second continue to lift UP and BACK on the Spoiler to release the Plastic Clips. Then continue lifting until the threaded studs clear the
holes in the Hatch (see Figure 3b).

c.

Then turn the Rear Spoiler over and disconnect the:

High Mount Brake Lamp Wire Harness (see Figure 3b). Rear Glass Washer Fluid Hose (see Figure 3b).

4.

Remove any remaining Plastic Clips from the Rear Hatch (see Figure 4).

CAUTION:

Be careful not to damage the Rear Hatch Inner Structure or paint when removing the Plastic Clips.
