Use a Plastic Chisel Tip Tool to remove all the Adhesive Tape (see Figure 7).

Make sure all Adhesive Tape is removed including any adhesive residue.

Make sure all Adhesive Remover residue is completely removed.

You'll be applying a new piece of Adhesive Tape so the surface must be completely clean and dry.

Apply Adhesion Promoter (contained in the Kit) to the Rear Hatch area that you cleaned with alcohol and water.

NOTE:

Don't delay in applying the Adhesion Promoter once you open the package. The Adhesion Promoter Pad will dry out quickly.

The Adhesion Promoter will prepare the surface for the new Adhesive Tape (that you'll be installing onto the Rear Spoiler later).

Allow the Adhesion Promoter to dry.
