Remove the Adhesive Tape Backing by pulling on the extra (exposed) length (see Figure 12).
NOTE:
Lift UP on the front edge of the Spoiler while pulling the Adhesive Tape Backing. This will help prevent the Backing material from breaking
off.
18.
Re-install and tighten the two nuts that secure the Rear Spoiler.

Nut Torque: 3.5 N-m (0.36 kg-m, 31 in-lb).

Use a Non-Marring Hard Rubber Roller to completely seat the Adhesive Tape (see Figure 13).
CAUTION:
Do NOT damage the Rear Spoiler when using the Roller.

Use the Roller to apply enough force until all air is purged out of the Tape (cannot hear any popping air bubbles).

Re-install the rear Hatch Upper Finisher making sure:
