Pull the carpet down and fold back the rubber insulation flap (see Figure 1).

Measure the "free" height from the metal floor to the top-center of the brake pedal (pedal all the way up).
NOTE:
The Brake Pedal Height Tool J-46532 (an "essential tool") is available from TECH-MATE at 1-800-662-2001.

Position the Brake Pedal Height Tool as shown in Figure 1.

Pedal height should be:

182.3 mm - 192.3 mm.

Preferred setting is about 187 mm.
