1.

Write down the radio presets so you can reprogram when you're finishing the job.

2.

Set the Air Flow Control to 'Front and Rear Floor Outlet' mode. See Figure 1 for Automatic A/C or Figure 2 for Manual A/C.

Remove the 4 driver's seat mounting bolts.

NOTE:

You will need to slide the driver's seat to the middle position to do this.

Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

NOTE: 

After you have disconnected the battery terminal you must wait at least 3 minutes before moving on to step 5.

Tilt the entire seat assembly backward off the floor until it rests against the rear seat.

6.

Remove the driver's side lower instrument panel (see Figure 3).

7.

Pop off the instrument lower cover (see Figure 3).

8.

Disconnect the 3 wire harnesses from the Body [Control Module (BCM).
