After all DTCs are erased:

Turn the ignition switch OFF.

^

Disconnect CONSULT-II and the CAN Cable from the vehicle connector.

Disconnect the battery charger from the vehicle.

^

Start the engine and make sure it runs properly and there are NO warning lights illuminated in the instrument panel.

Continue with Part 4.

Part 4

Part 4:

Re-program the 8 MB (orange) Reprogramming Card back to its original format so it can be used for standard ECU reprogramming.

1.

Remove the red/white diagnostic card from CONSULT-II and insert the 8 MB orange Reprogramming card.

2.

Go to the ASIST terminal.

3.

Follow steps in Part I of this bulletin to download (transfer) data from ASIST to CONSULT-II.

Use ID Code 050602.

^

This will re-program the 8 MB (orange) card to its original format so it can be used for standard ECU reprogramming.
