The corrugated tubing has a split opening along its entire length. Remove the wires through that split then separate the wires into two pairs:

2 black with silver band

Cut the 2 Black with Silver Band wires 180 mm (7 inches) from the buckle sleeve then discard the old harness.
IMPORTANT:
Make sure to measure correctly.
