NOTE:

Before installing, apply ATF or petroleum jelly to seal lip.

Do not reuse old oil seal.

8. Align the matchmark of front drive shaft thread with the mark on the companion flange, then install the companion flange.

9. Tighten self-lock nut to the specified torque.

Self-lock nut: 275 Nm (28 kg-m, 203 ft. lbs.) 

NOTE: Do not reuse self-lock nut.

10. Install front propeller shaft.
