2004-2005 QX56; OUTSIDE DOOR HANDLE CABLE FREEZES; DOOR DIFFICULT TO CLOSE IN COLD TEMPERATURES

This bulletin has been amended. Step 6 in the Service Procedure has been modified and the Parts Information has been updated. No other content has
been changed.

Discard all previous versions of this bulletin.

APPLIED VEHICLES:
2004 - 2005 QX56 (JA60) - front doors only

IF YOU CONFIRM

The inside handle will open the door but the outside handle

^

will not open the door

^

is difficult to operate (stuck)

^

does not move freely

and/or

^

the door does not latch when closing

^

the door outside handle cable (part of lock assembly) is stuck due to freezing

ACTION

Replace both front door lock assemblies (includes cables) and outside door handle brackets. Refer to the Service Procedure for details.
