For vehicles built before the above dates and VIN's, go to Step 5 below: Check the Torque Member Version.

Step 5: Check Torque Member Version (mold or new).

A.

Clean the surface on the bosses of the torque member mounting bolt holes-hub side (see Figure 3).

B.

Look for the dots (round indent marks) on the bosses (see Figure 3).

If there's dots on both bosses it's the new version. Skip to Step 7: Install New Front Brake Pads.

If there's dots on only one boss its the old version. Go to Step 6 : Install New Torque Member Kits.
