NOTE:
Make sure the inboard pads are installed with the wear sensors facing down (towards the ground). See Figure 10.

Reinstall the cylinder body.
NOTE:
If the vehicle you are working on requires new torque members (see Step 5) make sure to use the new sliding pin bolts included in the Torque
Member Kit.

First tighten the Lower sliding pin bolt - farthest from the bleed valve. Then tighten the Upper sliding pin bolt.
Torque Spec: 40 - 44 N-m (4.0 - 4.5 kg-m 30 - 32 ft-lb)
Step 8
Step 8: Resurface the Rear Brake Rotors and Replace the Rear Brake Pads.
A.
Remove the rear wheels and brake caliper assemblies.

Refer to section BR in the ESM for rear brake caliper assembly removal.
B.
Inspect! measure the rotors to make sure they are serviceable (they can be reused / resurfacing is possible).

Refer to the ESM section BR for brake rotor inspection.

Minimum Thickness:
12 mm (0.472 in.)
Any thickness under that: Replace both rotors.
