Step 1: Check the Brake Pedal "Free" Height (pedal not pressed).
A.
If the vehicle is equipped with adjustable pedals set them to the lowest position.
B.
Pull the carpet down and fold back the rubber insulation flap (see Figure 1).
C.
Measure the "free" height from the metal floor to the top-center of the pedal (pedal all the way up).
NOTE:
The Brake Pedal Height Tool J-46532 (an "essential tool") can be ordered from TECH-MATE.
