Intake Manifold: Service and Repair

REMOVAL 

1. Battery negative cable.
2. Drain the coolant.
3. Accelerator pedal cable [1].
4. Ventilation hose [2].

-

Disconnect from air duct.

5. Air rubber hose [3].

-

Disconnect from air duct.

6. Air duct [4].
7. Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve vacuum hose [5].

-

Disconnect from EGR valve side.

8. Fuel feed hose [6].

-

Disconnect from intake manifold side.

9. Water hose [7].

-

Disconnect from thermal valve.

10. EGR pipe [8].

-

Remove the flange nut.

11. Air regulator connector [9].
12. Air regulator hose [10].
13. EGR fuel pressure control valve rubber hose [11].
14. Throttle body fixing bolts [12].
15. Common chamber fixing bolts and nuts [13].

-

Do not remove throttle body from cylinder head.

16. Common chamber [14].
17. Throttle body [15].
