Slide the accelerator pedal pad upwards, while pivoting the top portion of the pad to the right. This will "unhinge" the upper integrated attachment
clip underneath the pedal pad. (Figure 1 and Figure 2)

Pivot the top edge of the accelerator pedal pad toward the rear right side of the vehicle, and slide the accelerator pedal pad down to detach from
the accelerator rod assembly. (Figure 3)

Remove this accelerator pedal pad from the vehicle and discard.
