Console Lamp: Description and Operation
Circuit Operation
The C-4 TAIL fuse applies battery voltage at all times to the taillamp relay. When the lamp switch is in the HEAD or PARK position, the lamp switch
provides ground to the tail lamp relay. The taillamp relay energizes, providing battery voltage to the dash and console lamps. The brightness of the lamps
is controlled by the illumination controller. The illumination controller is a solid-state device which controls the ground path provided to the lamps.
