5. Install the brake hose fitting, two new gaskets, and the brake hose fitting bolt.
Tighten
Tighten the brake hose fitting to 44 Nm (33 ft. lbs.).
6. If you removed the brake hose fitting, bleed the brake hydraulic system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding in Hydraulic Brakes.
7. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Installation in Tires and Wheels.
8. Lower the vehicle and remove the safety stands.
9. With the engine running, firmly pump the brake pedal three times.
10. Check the brake system for leaks.
Inspection
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1. Inspect the mounting bolts and sleeves for corrosion.

Do not polish away any corrosion.

Replace corroded mounting bolts and sleeves.
2. Inspect the linings for wear. Replace the linings if the linings are tapered beyond 0.15 mm (0.006 inch).

3. Inspect the brake hose fitting bolt. If the through-hole is blocked, remove the blockage or replace the bolt.
