Condition:
Some owners may comment on a Service Engine Soon (SES) light being illuminated, upon investigation the technician may find DTC P0420 has been
set.
Disclaimer
Possible Cause:
Due to engine temperature, over a period of time the flexjoint in the front pipe may break down and cause the catalytic converter to fail.
Correction:
Replace the catalytic converter and front pipe.
Service Procedure
Refer to the appropriate Service Manual when removing and installing the catalytic converter.
